A beautiful example of late Victorian to Edwardian-era design, this antique sterling silver Albert chain bracelet showcases a refined combination of trombone links and intricate lover’s knot connectors - symbols traditionally associated with fidelity and eternal love. Originally crafted as part of a gentleman’s watch chain, this piece has been skillfully adapted into a bracelet, preserving its historical charm and elegance.

The bracelet is adorned with a beautifully detailed Art Nouveau-era cherub charm, delicately enamelled in a deep purple. The soft relief cherub, with its gentle expression and curled wings, embodies themes of love, innocence, and divine inspiration — indicative of the Art Nouveau movement, which celebrated fluid forms and natural motifs. The enamel background adds an alluring pop of colour, enhancing the charm’s dimensional detail.

Each link is stamped with a Pheasant and alternate links has both pheasant and maker's mark stamped. The charm is not hallmarked but tests as xx silver.

Condition: presented in a good antique condition. The silver has developed a soft, even patina, enhancing its vintage character. The enamel is well-preserved with only minor wear consistent with age. All links and joints are secure, and the clasp functions smoothly.

Hallmarks:
Lion Passant – Indicating sterling silver (.925 purity), per British assay standards.
HB&S – Maker’s mark for Herbert Bushell & Son, a known silversmith working in Birmingham in the late 19th to early 20th century.

Charm Dimension: 2.5 x 2 x 0.3 cm
