Edwardian Peridot Pendant in 9ct Gold
An elegant survivor from the Edwardian era, this 9ct gold pendant centres on a lively bezel-set peridot, its crisp green hue beautifully complemented by the warm gold. Originally part of a lavalier, the piece has been thoughtfully converted to its current form, retaining the fine openwork and graceful proportions characteristic of the period.
Stamped 9ct on both the pendant and the barrel clasp, and tested for purity. It wears with a smooth comfort and also gives a clean, versatile look perfect for modern wear
The peridot is securely set, and its subtle glow makes it an easy match for everyday wear or more formal occasions. The chain length is designed to sit gracefully in the nook of the collarbone.
Condition: Presented in good antique condition with some minor wear. Converted from original lavalier as the drop was absent. Stones secure and ready to wear.
Peridot size: 6.0 x 4.2 mm (~ 0.95ct)
