Reserved! Victorian Double Serpent Ring with Rose cut Diamond and Sapphire in 18K Gold
Serpent rings were given as a sign of commitment and eternal love in the Victorian Era, making it popular when Prince Albert presented an emerald engagement ring to Queen Victoria.
This beautiful example features a natural rose cut diamond and rich blue sapphire on the head, with tiny diamonds for the eyes. The diamond is approximately 4.3 mm and sapphire is 5.0 mm.
The ring is stamped 18K inside the band and hallmarked with an owl indicating French assay office, circa 1880.
A six month layaway option is available for this ring.
