Victorian Five Stone OMC Diamond Ring in 18K Yellow Gold
This Victorian five-stone diamond ring is a breathtaking example of late 19th-century craftsmanship, featuring a mix of Old Mine Cut (OMC) diamonds alongside a square cushion and round-cut diamonds. The combination of diamond cuts adds depth and character to the piece, creating a timeless design that radiates elegance and vintage charm. This elegant piece has a total diamond weight of approximately 0.50ct.
The diamonds are set in a classic 18K gold band, with each stone secured in a shared prong setting, enhancing their brilliance and allowing for maximum light reflection. The five-stone arrangement symbolises love, commitment, and eternity, making it a perfect engagement ring or an heirloom piece to be cherished for generations.
Hallmarked for Birmingham in 1892, this ring carries a mark of authenticity and historical significance, tying it to the high standards of craftsmanship in the late Victorian period.
Condition: This ring is in excellent condition for its age, with the diamonds securely set and the band showing minimal signs of wear. However, one of the smallest diamonds has a surface scratch, visible only under magnification.
