This striking vintage bangle is a quintessential example of early 1970s British silver craftsmanship. Made from sterling silver, the bangle features a bold and tactile all-over bark-textured finish, characteristic of the period's fascination with organic and naturalistic surfaces. The design offers a pleasing interplay of light and shadow, lending depth and subtle brilliance to the otherwise minimalist silhouette. The form is a classic oval hinged bangle, crafted to sit comfortably on the wrist while maintaining a statement presence.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a well-preserved texture and secure clasp. The silver retains a pleasing patina appropriate for its age, with minimal surface wear. There are no dings or dents on the bangle.
Hallmarks: Clearly hallmarked on the interior with the maker's mark C.P.S, denoting Charles Perry & Sons, alongside the Birmingham Assay Office anchor, lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter W, confirming manufacture in 1971.
Size: Internal diameter approximately 6.2 x 5.5 cm (oval shape) – suited to a medium wrist. Band width measures approximately 10 mm.
