A breathtaking display of antique craftsmanship, this stunning Australian opal ring is a true statement of elegance. The centrepiece is a solid oval opal with a mesmerising play of colour, flashing iridescent blues, greens, and fiery oranges. Encircling the opal is a halo of twenty glistening white old cut sapphires, set in silver, enhancing the ring’s brilliance and antique charm.
The band and backing are crafted in 9ct rose gold, providing a warm contrast to the cool shimmer of the sapphires. The ornate, closed-back setting is indicative of early 20th-century design, likely dating to the Edwardian or early Art Deco period.
