Antique Double Sided Photo Locket in 9ct gold
A beautiful photo locket detailed with leaf and lustrous garnet topped doublets on the frame. The locket can be opened from the reverse to insert your favourite photo, keepsakes or gemstones to add more sparkle.
The locket is stamped G&W as maker, floral design suggesting that it is likely an early Australian piece, circa 1905. Crafted in 9 ct rose gold with a bloomed finish to give the appearance of polished high karat gold.
Condition: Presented with original components and in very good antique condition. There are no chips and cracks on the glass or the gemstones. The reverse frame fits perfectly and securely through friction.
