This rare Georgian beauty showcases a foil backed, flat cut garnet in a bezel setting. Garnets were highly favoured gemstones during the Georgian period, prized for their intense colour and symbolic significance, often associated with love, passion, and protection. The centre garnet is accompanied by two rose cut diamond on the shoulder in silver setting.
This beautiful ring is presented in a good vintage condition with wear that is consistent with age. The garnet has tiny abrasion on some facets but only visible when zooming in.
